Tag: australia A Toowoomba Catholic primary school principal has appeared in court charged with failing to report an alleged case of child sex abuse.

Police allege the 49-year-old man was aware of the alleged abuse but did not report it to authorities when he found out about 18 months ago.
A 60-year-old former teacher is facing 46 counts of raping and indecently assaulting a child at the school.
The school principal is on bail and will not be required to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates court when his case is again mentioned in July.
