Former priest James Patrick Jennings appeared in court on 26 May 2009, charged with four counts of indecent assault which police alleged occurred at St Stanislaus' College, Bathurst. CathNews did not run the story and has never mentioned Jennings.

This is the fourth Australian Catholic sex abuse case from 2009 which CathNews has never mentioned, and the third from the 2009 St Stanislaus' investigations. Two days ago, The Escaped Catholic reported that CathNews has never mentioned the cases of Father William Stanley Irwin, Father Murray Moffat and former priest Hugh Edward Murray.
Jennings appeared in court a month before the installation of Bathurst bishop Michael McKenna. Since McKenna's installation, CathNews has not mentioned the St Stanislaus' investigations.
