Warren Tucker of Jeffersonville, Ind., has claimed that the Rev. William Casey abused him for five years, beginning in 1975 when he was a fifth-grader at St. Dominic's church in Kingsport, Tenn. Some of that alleged abuse took place on trips to other states, Tucker claims.
The Virginia indictment was handed down on Monday. Commonwealth's attorney Marcus McClung said he expects Casey to turn himself in.
Casey pleaded guilty last week to similar charges in North Carolina. He was given 24 months of supervised probation.
In April, Diocese of Knoxville Bishop Richard Stika banned Casey from serving as a priest.
