More than 30 cases involving former students of Marist and Daramalan colleges have now been settled since the civil action began in 2008.

Some of the alleged offences date back to the 1970s.
Most of the Daramalan cases are linked to the late Paul Lyons, while the majority of those at Marist relate to Brother John Chute - also known as Brother Kostka - who has completed his jail time and is now serving periodic detention.
ACT Supreme Court yesterday heard mediations are proceeding as planned with another round of negotiations set down for November.
The case will come back before the court in December.
